Die Destillerie A.H. Riise liegt auf der St. Thomas Insel, eine amerikanische Jungferninsel in der Karibik. Bevor diese Insel ein amerikanisches Hoheitsgebiet wurde, war sie eine dänische Kolonie. Der Apotheker Albert Heinrich durfte um die 1840er Jahre nicht nur eine Apotheke eröffnen sondern auch Alkohol herstellen. Der A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy FROGMAN Rum, ist wie der Name schon erahnen lässt, dem "Frogman" (Kampfschwimmer) gewidmet. Dieser Blend besteht aus bis zu 20 Jahren alten Rumdestillationen, welche aus Melasse hergestellt werden. Destilliert wird im traditionellen Pot Still-Verfahren, die Abfüllung erfolgt ohne Kältefiltration sowie ohne Zusetzung von Karamell und in Fassstärke. Limitiert auf 2.000 Flaschen!
